Mary Jane Blige (Bronx, Nova Iorque, 11 de janeiro de 1971) é uma cantora, compositora e produtora musical norte-americana de R&B, soul e hip hop.

Mary J. Blige, a Rainha do Hip-Hop soul, é um dos maiores nomes da música Norte Americana e uma das mais respeitadas cantoras da história. Mary é a única representante do Hip-Hop a entrar na lista dos 100 maiores cantores de todos os tempos da revista Rolling Stone. Ganhadora de 9 Grammy Awards, Mary gravou nove multi-platinum álbuns. Tendo no total 23 discos de platina e 6 de ouro. Blige começou sua carreira no inicio da década de 90, gravando seu primeiro álbum “What's the 411?” que estreou em primeiro lugar na Billboard 200. Seu último álbum “Stronger With Each Tear” se tornou o sétimo álbum da cantora a estréiar em primeiro lugar. Mary J. Blige recebeu o World Music Legends Awards, um dos mais importantes prêmios do ramo musical, por combinar Hip-Hop e Soul como ninguém. Em novembro de 2010 a revista Billboard, uma das mais respeitadas do ramo musical, classificou Mary J. Blige como a mais bem sucedida cantora de R&B e Hip-Hop dos últimos 25 anos, a frente de cantoras como Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys e Janet Jackson. Em 2010, Mary fez parte do grupo que regravou a antiga música We are the World, na versão Haiti.
